Although Greg was born in Brooklyn, he considers himself a native Miamian since he moved here at age 11. After graduating from North Miami Beach High School, he went on to study at The University of South Florida, then returned to Miami where he met Alma. She settled in Miami after living and studying all over the world. Together they raise their two incredible children: Sarah, who just turned 21 and Mason, who will be 14 in March. Alma’s strength and dedication to family makes her the admirable person she is. No matter what hurdles are thrown in front of them, she insures they will thrive.
Their multicultural home creates a warm and inviting place for friends and family to congregate. They love traveling the world with their family and exposing their children to different places, creating open-minded and culturally enriched young adults of whom they are very proud. The Sochermans are avid boaters and spend most weekends on the water. Their true passion is giving back to a community that we identify with. Having a child on the spectrum has taught them to be more patient, insightful, and more grateful for lessons that they otherwise would never have had. They know how blessed they are to have resources like The Kloda Whitebook Kesher Academy where patience, professionalism, and love exudes for Mason and all of the children in a way that is invaluable. Alma and Greg have worked together for over 20 years in the beauty industry. Together they built and sold Keratherpy, a hair products company, and are presently wholesaling products all over the world. Together they speak 6 languages. Greg & Alma Socherman are both honored and humbled to be part of such a life-changing school, and plan to continue their involvement in the years to come.
